Human Resources Manager

We are searching for a Human Resources Manager for our continuously growing organization.​  This position is based in our Fayetteville, NC Office and reports directly to the President/​CEO.

General Description of Position: Provides overall strategic HR leadership to the company; development, implementation, and communication of human resources policies and administrative services; includes recruitment, selection, retention, legal compliance, employee benefits, payroll, employee relations, employment practices and procedures, employee communications and programs.
This position requires an experienced HR manager with total human resources management experience.​ Must be able to develop and implement HR policies and programs that reflect the needs of the organization.​ This role is ideally suited for a high-energy, organized, and resourceful individual who is motivated by the challenge of helping managers and employees identify and develop creative action plans to foster a corporate culture of trust, mutual respect and accountability.​ Role requires a hands-on approach to manage a wide range of responsibilities: organizational analysis and forecasting staffing needs based upon the strategic plan, targeted recruitment and selection, partnering with managers to identify and provide training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and overall employee advocacy.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment/​Selection– Develop strategic staffing strategies, coordinate recruitment, screen job candidates, and advise managers on selection.

Benefits - Maintain benefit census information, provide benefit enrollment forms to new hires and updates coverage as qualifying events occur, work with benefits broker and management to provide continual, progressive benefits.

Workers Compensation/​OSHA – Investigate Workers Compensation injuries/​illnesses, contact and work with insurance carrier, complete and maintain all necessary documentation.

Employment Law/​Policies – Create, update, and publish HVAC Employee Handbook, maintain personnel record keeping, and remain current with changes in human resource and employment law.

Training and Development – Work with managers to ensure all employees remain current in training requirements, helps identify and resolve human performance deficiencies, and manage new employee orientation.

Organizational Analysis/​Structure – Help senior management determine requisite organization structure based upon strategic plan, develop and update job descriptions, monitor overall organization effectiveness and recommend improvement opportunities.

Performance Management – Manages company performance management process, coaches managers on how to effectively gain employee trust and contributions, and helps managers judge employee effectiveness.

Separations – Advises management on multiple forms of separation, identifies potential legal implications, and provides separated employees with confidential and respectful disengagement.

Technology – Implements and utilizes a Human Resources Information System.

Internal and External Communications: Effective presentation skills; must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively orally and in written form.

Computer Skills: Must have excellent analytical skills using PC based applications, specifically spreadsheet and database applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications:

-  Undergraduate degree mandatory, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration.

-  Minimum of 3 years experience in HR manager role with emphasis in recruiting with minimum 7 years experience in HR field.

-  PHR/​SPHR certification preferred.

-  MBA in HR and/​or Organizational Development a plus.

-  Knowledge of and experience in implementing Requisite Organization preferred.

-  Current Top Secret//SCI Clearance
